Fees

• Initial home consultation when you can discuss your requirements with our designer and evaluate potential costs. There is no charge for this service.
• The fee for a full design service starts at £1000 depending on the size and complexity of the job. If you would like the design only, it will be signed over to you and you can then find, appoint and manage your own contractors if you wish.
• Our project management services start from as little as from £600 and includes everything from structural work to fitting and decoration. We provide you with a professional service to pay huge attention to detail and ensure the work progresses smoothly.
• Alternatively if you feel confident about managing the project, we can provide a 'pay as you go' consultancy service where we can be called on for advice or to trouble shoot if you have a problem. The fee for this service is £50 per hour.
• Machine for Living can also help you to source antique and twentieth century design items that will give your home a unique and individual style.
• All fees and charges include VAT at the current rate of 17.5%.
• We have public liability insurance and all products carry the usual manufacturers' guarantees.
